AI that works
for your brand.
Not against it.

Most organisations use AI to produce more. I use it to understand better — explainable, human-in-the-loop systems calibrated to your logic, not generic tools.

The Problem

Where AI goes wrong today.

01
AI as a content factory — more output, same noise.
02
Generic tools that don't understand your brand.
03
Black boxes no one can explain — or trust.

What I build instead

I build the opposite: precision instruments, calibrated to your brand.

Explainable, with the human in the loop. Not faster noise — better decisions. When I say a system understands, I mean something specific: context-aware analysis, retrieval over your own sources, calibration against your criteria — traceable at every step. In everyday terms: a review that works through thousands of pieces overnight and lands on your desk as a briefing in the morning. A system that pulls, out of hundreds of options, the ten that strengthen your brand — and explains why.

How the engine works

AI that thinks
in your brand.

The engine proposes. You decide.

I build AI systems calibrated to your specific brand logic — explainable, human-in-the-loop, not a content factory. Brand-consistency checks at scale, audience patterns made visible, decisions prepared before they get expensive.

Available as a standalone assessment, a leadership workshop or a full implementation.

The person behind it: Director Brands at Bauer Media Group. I don't build these systems as a data scientist looking at brands from the outside — I build them on 20 years of accountability for brand consistency across a multi-title portfolio. Models are replaceable; that judgement is not.

Anonymised architecture · module names & agents abstracted · no client data shown

— From practice · anonymised The challenge: a multi-title magazine portfolio with thousands of pieces of content and a history no editorial team can hold in its head. That's exactly where brand drift happens — not because people do bad work, but because at some point the volume gets too big. I designed and built an intelligence system for this that makes brand consistency scalable: six specialised review modules, from the single headline to the complete issue plan. It analyses content, delivers concrete recommendations and makes its reasoning transparent. The final call stays with a human. The effect: consistency is no longer a matter of spot checks, checklists or gut feeling. It becomes a property of the system. Deviations become visible early — before they cost reach, quality or money. The architecture above shows this system in anonymised form, without client data. What gets built gets measured — typical metrics: brand-consistency score, retrieval precision, hallucination rate against the eval set.

How we work together

All three formats are deliberately limited — I take on few mandates in parallel, so each gets the depth it needs. We clarify availability and scope in the first conversation.

01

Assessment

Where does AI create real value in your brand — and where is it just noise? A focused assessment with a clear, prioritised roadmap.

  • A prioritised roadmap: where AI creates value for your brand — and where it doesn't
  • A readiness check: the content, data and rights you can actually build on
  • A make-or-buy recommendation — custom build vs. off-the-shelf, with reasoning
  • A first risk and governance outline for the prioritised use cases

02

Leadership Workshop

A hands-on session for leadership teams: what AI can and can't do for a brand, how to stay in control, and where to start.

  • A shared, realistic picture of what AI can and can't do for your brand
  • Decision criteria you can reuse: when to build, when to buy, when to leave it
  • First use-case candidates from your own operation, prioritised together
  • Clarity on control: where human decisions stay mandatory
  • The results documented — ready to share internally
On request

03

Custom Implementation

I design and build a bespoke AI system around your brand logic: grounded retrieval, an evaluation harness and guardrails — model-agnostic, explainable, human-in-the-loop. The result is brand intelligence: your brand's rules, made checkable at scale.

  • A running system, calibrated to your brand logic — not a slide deck
  • An eval set built from your brand's criteria: the benchmark the system must pass
  • Guardrails and a human decision gate, wired into your workflow
  • A governance doc: data flows, model choices, responsibilities, documentation
  • A handover your team can operate — documentation, enablement, clear ownership

Risk & Governance

HallucinationEvery concept specifies an eval set built from your brand's criteria — and a human decision gate. Nothing counts until both say yes.
Data protectionYour data stays with you: the architecture is designed for processing in your environment, with nothing flowing into third-party training — implemented by your IT, against clear specifications.
IP & copyrightSource binding is a design principle: every finding stays traceable to its source, and systems work on your own licensed content.
Vendor lock-inDesigned model-agnostic. Models get swapped; your brand logic, eval sets and data remain yours.
EU AI ActEvery use case is classified before it's built; transparency obligations are part of the concept. An assessment, not legal advice.
RolesI deliver architecture, criteria and governance — implementation and operations sit with your IT, and I guide the transfer.

— Role & BoundariesRelevance Code is my employer-approved independent practice alongside my main role as Director Brands at Bauer Media Group. That's exactly why I take on only a few mandates in parallel — the waitlist isn't a gesture, it's the consequence. Both roles stay strictly separate: no mandates in the direct competitive field, confidentiality in both directions, and when in doubt I decline — clarified before any proposal. What the dual role gives you: I don't advise on anything I don't answer for myself, every day, in a major media company.
